Software reviews
Understand your software before deciding what to change.
You may need an independent review before continuing development, taking over a project or commissioning substantial changes. I review the agreed code and product areas, record the evidence and explain what the findings mean for the next stage of work.
What you receive
A written report with the evidence behind its findings.
An explanation of the areas reviewed and any limits on the review.
A prioritised action plan with estimated effort.
The follow-up discussion agreed in the scope.
Reviews for different decisions
The scope depends on your product and the decision you need to make. It can cover a website, web application, mobile app, business system or stalled project.
The proposal identifies the technologies, user journeys, access and checks included. We agree on the price and timing before work starts.
After the review
You can use the report with your own team or ask me to scope implementation. If you already know what needs to be built or fixed, we can discuss that work directly.
AI-built applications
I review AI-built and AI-assisted applications. We agree on the scope and the evidence needed before the review starts.
Sample audit reports
These reports show how I document findings, evidence and recommended changes. They are independent reviews of public codebases. The developers did not commission or endorse them.
The findings reflect the source versions and review limits stated in each report. For your project, we agree on the scope, deliverables, fee and timing before work starts.
